Vintage Antique "LEHMANN” New Century Cycle" German Wind-up Auto Onkel with Box.
I’m offering this stunning toy to you directly from my “PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST” collection. Not often seen with a quality reproduction box as you see here. This toy is know as the Lehmann New Century Cycle. Made approximately in the Circa 1895-1938: This 5" long antique German tin litho windup Lehmann New Century Cycle with patriotic red, white, and blue parasol was manufactured specifically for the American market. It has a complex motion. When wound, the toy moves as the driver tips his hat and the passenger spins the colorful umbrella. This example is in gently played with conditon, and the windup mechanism in working condition. A few paint loses here and there but it is expected from a toy around 100 years old. The box is a brand new reproduction but setting it along side of this toy will definitely bring out the conversations. Any questions just ask. Thanks
